Why this page exists
You'll see numbers all over this site — response-time benchmarks, review-trust percentages, cost comparisons, case-study results. Some of those numbers are things we measured ourselves. Some are published third-party research we cite. None of them are made up to sound persuasive. This page is where we show our work, so you don't have to take any of it on faith.
Three kinds of number on this site
- Our own client results — a specific business, a specific before/after, named and linked to a case study you can read in full (example: BiTurbo Auto Repair's call-answer rate, published at /case-studies/biturbo). These are facts about one business, not a claim about what will happen to yours.
- Third-party industry data — a statistic from a named external source (Google, a market-research firm, a public benchmark study), cited inline or in a page's
anchor_sourceline. We link or name the source rather than presenting it as our own finding. - Estimates — a calculation built from the two categories above (for example, "under 9 leads at typical Local Services Ads cost-per-lead" math, shown with its inputs). We label these as math, not as a guarantee of your outcome.
What you will not find here: an invented "average result," a percentage with no source, or a case-study number we can't point to.
How we source the numbers we cite
Market and behavioral statistics referenced across smrtlv.io (response-time-to-conversion odds, AI Overview search-share, review-trust thresholds, local-ranking factors) come from named industry research current as of our 2026 market review. Where a page states a statistic, the source is named next to it or in that page's methodology note. If you can't find a source for a number you're looking at, tell us — [email protected] — and we'll either point you to it or correct the page.
How we calculate our own results
Case-study numbers are pulled from the client's own systems (call logs, GBP insights, form-submission counts, Search Console data) with the client's consent to publish, compared against a defined before period. We don't cherry-pick the best week; the comparison window is stated on the case study itself.
What "reviews" means on this site
Any review count or rating shown reflects our live Google Business Profile at the time the page was last updated, not a historical peak. We link to the profile itself wherever we cite it so you can verify the current count directly rather than trust our copy: view our Google Business Profile.
What we don't do
- We don't publish an "average client result" without naming the client it came from.
- We don't use a stock number pulled from a competitor's marketing as if it were our own.
- We don't round an estimate up and present it as a measured fact.
- We don't buy or fabricate reviews, testimonials, or case-study outcomes.
